I love this time of year. There’s something so cozy about the upcoming holiday season…family, friends, food AND decorations! While I love the natural colors that come with the Thanksgiving holiday; when it comes to setting a holiday table there needs to be some sort of dramatic color added in. All those neutrals need to pop somehow right? Well, while browsing our local farmers market it hit me…this year I’m taking my decorating inspiration from the colors of the season (seasonal food that is). Think about how many rich beautiful colors are found at the farmers market (talk about the ultimate inspiration)! The deep-rich shades of purple found in cabbage, the jewel tone fushia of the pomegranate, the various shades of muted green pears, of course there’s the warm yellow and orange shades of squash, and what is the perfect color backdrop for all of these brilliant colors? Why blue of course (just look up). Here are some inspirations to get you started…
